General Information about the Product: ПРП-Ц-type cement displacement plugs are used when carrying out cementing (grouting) work in a well and they are designed for the following purposes: lower plug (II) to preserve the quality of the head portion of the cement (grouting) slurry in the casing string by separating and preventing its mixing with the flushing fluid moving ahead, upper plug is traditionally used – as it is necessary to obtain a “Stop” pressure surge, signaling the end of the cementing process and to prevent mixing and separation of the cement (grouting) slurry and the displacing fluid (mud) pumped in the casing string. In addition, the lower and upper plugs clean the inner surface of the casing pipes from a cake of mud and cement slurry residues.

Lower (Н) plugs ПРП–Ц–Н-114324 mm – hollow 3-brush rubber products with a rubberized aluminum drillable branch pipe with open end and a 20 mm thick rubber diaphragm at the lower end. The diaphragm ruptures after the lower plug is seated on ЦКОДМ valve and when the pressure is subsequently exceeded by 1.5-2.0 MPa.

Upper plugs ПРП–Ц-102178 mm – all-rubber, 3-brush products with a cast-iron drillable support disk-washer pressed into the lower part. Upper plugs ПРП–Ц-194324 mm are also all-rubber, 3-brush products, but instead of support disk-washer, they are equipped with a pressed-in vertical drillable cement core.

Plugs ПРП–Ц-340 and 426 – sealing plugs, with 4 and 5, respectively, drillable rubber horizontal brushes – rings, which are cemented from the inside.

Lower (Н) plugs – with central cemented aluminum drillable branch pipe with open lower end and a 20 mm thick rubber diaphragm at the upper end.

For successful use of ПРП-Ц-type plugs it is recommended to use cementing heads equipped with pressure compensators and locking screws, and their length for 245 mm plugs shall be at least 60 mm, and for mm plugs – at least 90-100 mm.

The displacement plugs shall be stored in a vertical position in dry, closed rooms with air temperature of no lower than + 7^о С and no higher than + 30^о С.
